Privately printed for the Author, 1927. 1st edition. Record and photographs of a big-game hunting trip to Africa. "The following letters chronicle the adventures of a party - consisting of Daniel E. Pomeroy, of New York, Dr Audley D. Stewart, of Rochester, and the writer [George Eastman - founder of Kodak] - which left New York on the 13th March, 1926. Stewart and Eastman returned to Rochester on the 24th of October, 1926." 24.5cms x 17cms x 2cms. Pp.87/28 black & white photo plates by Martin Johnson to end, 26 pages of black & white photos by Messrs. Pomeroy, Stweart, Eastman and Johnson accompanying text, charts of routes to endpapers, tipped-in complments slip "To my old comrades in the Kodak Organization" with facsimile signature of George Eastman. Rough-cut page edges a little chipped, brown mark to rear endpapers. Beige cloth spine with scuffed paper-covered boards, original paper title label to spine, spine darkened, corners bumped. Good.
